Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio will shoot a film about Theodore Roosevelt 27.09.2017

To the five already completed projects, where Martin Scorsese was the Director, and Leonardo DiCaprio played the lead role, and two more planned (“the Killer flower of the moon” about the formation of the FBI and “the Devil in the white city” about a serial killer) added a new project — Studio “paramount” launches the development of a biopic on Theodore Roosevelt.

Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt was 25 and the youngest at that time President of the United States, received the post 42 years after fatal wounds of President William McKinley in 1901. Roosevelt promoted the formation of America as a global imperialist power which such a title is not claimed. He belongs to the phrase “big stick policy” and “world policeman.” Roosevelt was the first American received in 1906 the Nobel peace prize.

Considering the fact that Scorsese is already busy on the project for “Netflix” with De Niro and Pacino “Irish”, the start date of filming the new project is still unknown, as the priority and the status of the previously announced films.
