Meryl Streep agrees about participating in the musical by Rob Marshall for Walt Disney Pictures “Mary Poppins returns” (“Mary Poppins Returns”). Earlier in the project joined Emily blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The events of the film Rob Marshall will unfold in the 1930-ies in the same family Banks, where twenty years later comes back Mary Poppins. Jane and Michael have grown and got their own children. After the outbreak of family tragedies due to the loss of a loved one, Mary once again comes to visit the family to return to them the joy of life.
The title character will play Emily blunt, and Lin-Manuel Miranda will play the lamplighter Jack and friend Mary, who will become a substitute for Bert from original paintings seller matches and drawing on the sidewalks of the artist. Meryl Streep will play the eponymous heroine a cousin named topsy. The actress previously starred in the musical, Marshall’s “the farther into the forest.”
