Disputes about how to watch movies in three-dimensional format or not to watch, being a long time. Operator Roger Dikins, who directed the science fiction sequel to “blade Runner” and is a potential participant in the upcoming Oscar race, advises to refrain from viewing the pictures in 3D, says Digital Spy.
Responding to user comments on its web site, Dikins noted that the film was shot in 2D format and the 3D elements were added later. Therefore, in order to enjoy the maximum image quality, it is better to look two-dimensional version.
“I prefer the standard two-dimensional wide-angle version. The problem I encountered is the silver screens, which are used by some systems. The picture projected on the silver screen, devoid of richness and density. But sitting in the audience at an optimal distance from the screen this nuance may not be so obvious,” wrote Dikins.
In short, if you haven’t had a new fiction by Denis Villeneuve and going to do this, think about what is more important to you: perfect 3D image quality. The film is in the Ukrainian box office from 5 October.
