Directors spike Lee (pictured) and Jordan Peele (“Off”) will make the film about the ku Klux Klan.
The picture is called “Black all kinds of things over” and tells the real story of police officer of African-American Ron Stallworth that in 1978 an undercover infiltrated the ku Klux Klan. The policeman became the leader of the local branch of pretending to be racist on the phone or in correspondence. At the meetings with the inferior members of the clan had to substitute white officer. In 2014, Stallworth published the eponymous memoir.
The setting of the picture will spike Lee (“Not caught – not a thief”, “the 25th hour”), and to produce it will be the company Saw Monkeypaw Productions and notorious Blumhouse Productions (“Paranormal alvenia”, “Visit”).
There are rumors that the main role in the film will go to the son of Denzel Washington, John David, but it is not officially confirmed.
