Denis Villeneuve took on the responsibility to take the sequel to a cult film 82, which, in fact, was a pioneer of the cyberpunk genre, where we saw that a Noir, a dark, depressing future where people are essentially creating the Replicants began to lose the human that gave him the nature, leaving only the primal instinct of self-preservation, when the “dolls” created by man are becoming more similar with a real person. This struggle for life and existence in the future, in the format of a stylish and at the same time a grim future with no doubt the best special effects and rendering in a while, in my opinion, made this movie. He was ahead of time of 10-15 years and has become a cult, require special consideration in implementing the idea of a sequel.
In my opinion, this is one of the best examples of how to remove the continuation of the cult of world masterpieces. This is as much as sequel to the first film “the Terminator” or the sequel “T2 Trainspotting” Danny Boyle. Implementation continue the depth of ideas once shown by Scott is fascinating.
Separately want to analyze the film in detail: the visual effects stunning realism and make believe it is the future; the incomparable Zimmer with his soundtracks, thanks to which the entire visual range becomes a work of art in and causes the body to crawl; it’s impossible not to acknowledge the work of the great operator Dickins with its special approach known to us for such works as “the Shawshank redemption” and “mind Games”.
Castes in my opinion flawless. None needed or not disclosed of the character, all the characters develop, carry the idea and are forced to empathize. Once opened Refnum Ryan Gosling, is fully suited to the role of the main character and looks great in the neon atmosphere of a Noir future. The appearance of Harrison Ford, fortunately, is not far-fetched and has no funny epic moments, as was in the continuation of the franchise “Star wars.”
Cameo no less carefully thought out than the main characters. Dave Batista in the role of the Keeper of secrets for its short appearance in the film, forced to think about the character for a very long time.
Denis Villeneuve has done an incredibly challenging and strengthened the greatness of the first film creating a profound continuation.
