“Ghost in the shell” could easily take the worst qualities of “Aeon flux”, “total Recall” or other films similar to this in its genre, but Director Rupert Sanders managed to sculpt something of their own, even if it was not any sensation.
The dying girl falls into the hands of a technology Corporation, where her brain transplanted into the mechanism bathe in “milk” is akin to “World Wild West”, and that’s such a killing machine ready to take orders. For a short story time enough draws in his universe, occurring almost every character is either a semi-cyborg, or did the car.
All sorts of technological stuff too, looks interesting, the only thing which has stopped progress in this movie is on firearms and old school Asian cars. Scarlett Johansson looks surprisingly good in its character very like the character Johan Asbeck, faithful friend losing over time its living body as the result of injury, explosions, however, do not lose their humanity.
The timing of the film does not give the viewer to hate “Ghost in the shell”, and a half hours of screen time, scene, action and basic number sense not such a bad result for the tape of this genre.
