Currently, I have absolutely ceased to hope for the genre of Comedy. Decent work comes the minimum number, and the rest either of pseudopodia (as I call them) with pardinum, disgusting humor (“50 shades of black”) or clichéd picture with a hackneyed plot about the boobies – mates – cops, blondes, etc.
“Goodfellas” was launched with a deliberate awareness that would not be funny, but hope that at least the action movie a good look. And was pleasantly surprised…
Plot. Seemingly predictable story… But played all actions are ambiguous and leave each plot turn intriguing. Personally, I liked the decision Shane black. The story revolves around two people of different “non-traditional” professions: the hired bouncers of Jackson Healy (Russell Crowe) and private detective Holland March (Ryan Gosling). Their fate will introduce to a joint business, in which they are to find Amelia, the mysterious girl, protesting against the authorities and covered in the dirty life of the porn industry… it should be noted that in terms of fighting scenes and humor directed simply exceeded all expectations.
Actors. Great cast. But is simply obliged to provide the perfect “couple” Russell Crowe in the role of Healy and Angari rice– Holly Murch, the daughter of a private detective Holland. Russell Crowe plays a tough, brash, “sophisticated” bouncer, who after meeting with Holly for the surprise expressed by some that if his father’s feelings or attempts?.. The point is that the Director’s goal was not to show their relationship (the story is not about that), but such obvious chemistry (in a good way) ran between them, that already “Believe!”.
Surprisingly for myself I can say that this Comedy came to my liking and I highly recommend a mandatory viewing!
