New review: still Alice 31.07.2017

Movies about diseases and loss of health I have long considered as separate cinematic genre. Click on play and it’s like opening Pandora’s box, then we will never be the same, so carefree. We refer to such facts that are scary to know and not know simultaneously.

The movie, which is dedicated to the review, officially is not based on anyone’s real story, but somehow I’m sure that it really was the place to be, and how many times. Successful at home and at work, a woman suddenly begins to feel otherwise, refers to a specialist, which puts her very serious diagnosis. And now from the diagnosis of her not to run away, just have to live with it.

I am alarmed by the idea that smart people, which is not just were born with high intelligence, and that it was developed on school, work, socializing with others, often receive similar diagnoses. This injustice is very much transferred to the film on the example of the protagonist — a Professor of linguistics, forgetting words. The gradual and inevitable loss of self. Literally. And here’s how to deal with it?

If we talk about acting, then I will allocate among all Julianne Moore (surprise, I know) and Kristen Stewart. Their dialogues, the views were right on target, and only in the last scene they got me quite conquered, as far as possible.

Be sure to take the time to look at “still Alice”. And it is better to add to your permanent movie collection, because periodically review such films are very useful, especially when it seems that failure is all too frequent and frustrating. Just remember that You can change things, to fight and not give up until You is still You.
